Ambulance 459 went into service over the summer. The 2016 Lifeline ambulance on a F550 chassis will be the standard for the department going into the future.

On Saturday April 11, 2015, SFD, MSP Bomb Squad, Mass State Hazmat team and SPD, responded to 3 reports of possible Anhydrous Ammonia in 20 pound propane tanks. All of the test performed for Anhydrous were negative.
